The Association for Environmental Health and Sciences
will be holding its West Coast Conference on Soils,
Sediments, and Water, March 13-16 in San Diego, CA. On
March 15 there will be a vapor intrusion session from
1:30-5:30 PM. On March 16 an all day workshop on
Development, Review, and Use of EPA’s Updated J and E
Model Spreadsheet presented by a panel of experts will

| Conference on Contaminated Property
Transactions |
|
RTM Communications, Inc. will be holding a Conference
on Contaminated Property Transactions: Deal Making and
Redevelopments, March 29-31, 2006 in Washington, DC.
There are individual vapor intrusion presentations on
both January 29 and 30. On March 31 there are four vapor
intrusion sessions scheduled including one by David
Folkes of EnviroGroup Limited on “Vapor Intrusion at
Large Scale Sites – The Redfield Case History”. The

Workshop |

The Northeast Waste Management Officials' Association
(NEWMOA) will be holding a one day vapor intrusion
workshop on April 12 in Chelmsford, MA. David Folkes of
EnviroGroup Limited will be speaking on Remediation

| Albany Vapor Intrusion Workshop
|
|
On April 18 the Hudson-Mohawk Professional Geologist
Association will be presenting a one day workshop titled
“Soil Vapor Monitoring, Vapor Intrusion, and Indoor Air:
A Workshop” in Albany, NY. Blayne Hartman of H & P
Geochemistry will be the instructor. The agenda can be

| Midwestern States Risk Assessment
Symposium |
|
The Midwestern States Risk Assessment Symposium will
be held August 21-24 in Indianapolis, IN. On August 22
there will be an all day workshop on soil gas sampling
involving classroom presentations and field sampling.

| ITRC State Survey |
|
The Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council has
made available to the public the results of an on line
survey conducted regarding regulatory agency approaches
to vapor intrusion. The survey was conducted in the fall
of 2004 and had 41 state agencies, one EPA Region, and
one Canadian agency respond. By clicking on any
individual question the distribution of responses to
that question can be seen in bar chart format. The

The Air and Waste Management Association held a
specialty conference, “Vapor Intrusion – The Next Great
Challenge”, January 25-27 in Philadelphia, PA. The
