In late August 2010 the US EPA issued a review of the 2002 Draft Vapor Intrusion Guidance as requested by the Office of the Inspector General. This review identifies section of the draft guidance that are outdated and require updating, as well as areas of the guidance to be expanded. The document can be found at:

On June 14, 2010 ASTM published E 2600-10, Standard Guide for Vapor Encroachment Screening on Property Involved in Real Estate Transactions. This standard replaces E 2600-08, published in March of 2008.
