In late August 2010 the US EPA issued a review of the 2002 Draft Vapor Intrusion Guidance as requested by the Office of the Inspector General. This
review identifies section of the draft guidance that are outdated and require updating, as well as areas of the guidance to be expanded. The

ASTM issues Final VI Guidance for Real Estate Transactions
|
|
On June 14, 2010 ASTM published E 2600-10, Standard Guide for Vapor Encroachment Screening on Property Involved in Real Estate Transactions. This standard replaces E 2600-08, published in March of 2008. It is anticipated that the screening under ASTM E 2600-10 will eventually become a routine part of an AAI-compliant Phase I environmental site assessment. Purchase information can be found at:
