Audit Project Descriptions
Power-Generating Station
A senior audit team from EnviroGroup conducted a multi-media compliance audit of a major
coal-fired generating station, including air emissions, water quality, and solid waste
management. Recommendations to help ensure continued compliance with environmental
regulations were provided.
Clay and Talc Producer
A large mining concern had recently built a sizeable clay and talc company through
acquisition of several small to medium sized producers. EnviroGroup conducted a baseline
audit for the company and provided recommendations for a comprehensive environmental
compliance program.
Plastic Medical Products Manufacturing
A major conglomerate interested in expanding into the medical products market targeted a
plastics manufacturing firm. The Corporation retained EnviroGroup to conduct an
environmental due diligence and compliance audit of the firm’s facility. The facility had
experienced minor historic releases requiring remediation and was near a large Superfund
Site. EnviroGroup identified potential liabilities and helped the client address several
